So we set a launch bar: beat Apple Notes. Cross-platform, one-click export, OCR search, and a local-first engine that never blocks your typing. Not more features — the right ones, done properly.

Under the hood, we made one decision that changes everything: the sync engine is identical for personal and team use. A personal note is a document synced to one account; a shared note is the same document synced to many. Teams only add permissions — no rebuild.
